We’re lucky to live in a house which has tiles through most of downstairs and where the NW-facing front is cooler than the back so we can escape the current UK heatwave. Because I have lots of white fur, I can tolerate the sun better than Chip and sometimes lie half and half in sun and shade. Mum found the cool mat and put it down in the yard. After ignoring it for days, Chip finally lay on it.
